It is one of the pioneer establishments of the Basque kebab in Barcelona. In front of a large bar, generally filled with customers, you are able to see just made kebabs and tapas. There are many typical slices of bread with diverse ingredients. But the kebab offer is not a limitation. The variety and freshness of its elements are characteristics to point out.
As it is common in this type of taverns, the procedure is self service and at the end they count the kebab sticks. We can find from croquettes to fried sausages, or tuna tacos to blue cheese, going through an endless selection of hors d’oeuvres of infinite colors and textures. In the back, the establishment has a Basque cuisine, always in function of season products. In its dishes we must emphasize the sea bass filled with ratatouille, prepared with a crepe, which is grilled and baked. This is accompanied by peppers and parsley juice with carrots and Ibarra cherries. The chef also recommends the “chicharro”, northern fish, from the Cantabric sea, also known as “jurel”, that is grill and oven cooked and is accompanied by squid and oyster sauce.
The recommendation: Avoid peak hours in order to enjoy the kebabs with the “txacolí” drinks. Keep in mind: We accept credit cards. Air conditioned. Groups allowed (maximum 20 people). Group menus for groups. We offer free parking for clients. Small wine cellar that includes Rioja, Ribera del Duero, Penedés, Costers del Segre and Priorat wines. It is important to make reservations. |
