The Café de la Princesa is located in a XIV century palace in the Ribera district, between the Picasso Museum, Mercat del Born and the Church of Santa Maria del Mar. After extensive renovation, the palace opened its doors become in a multipurpose room which brings together the food, fashion, art and culture.
The space is organized in two different areas: The inner part is the restaurant, a long hall covered by a huge glass dome that allows natural light path. The tables, generously apart, make room for 130 people. In this space is where cultural activities take place: painting and photography exhibitions, book presentations, debates and Wednesday nights and Saturday live music (jazz ,...)
The menu includes dishes from the cuisine, exotic Mediterranean with a touch of the most notable are the mashed potato with fried egg and straw, soybean and avocado tuna steak with foie gras and wild mushroom cream.
